No coconut balm/salve is a great addition to your breastfeeding journey. Calendula petals and chamomile flowers are ingredients that can help with soreness.
No coconut balm/salve is an alternative to Sore Be Gone. It contains no coconut that some are allergic to or do not like the smell. Babassu oil is the main ingredient that is like coconut oil, but without the coconut smell. It has the same effect.
This is a blend of the following essential oils:
Olive oil
Calendula petals
Chamomile flowers
Babassu oil
Beeswax
Shea butter

Olive oil
Calendula flowers is an anti-inflammatory agent, a moisturizer, protects the skin, keeps the skin healthy, and an antioxidant that can help with any blockage by promoting the flow and drainage of lymphatic fluids (what helps drain the breast internally)
Chamomile petals is high in antioxidants that moisturizes the skin while soothing possible irritation. In skincare products, it promotes healing and improving skin
Babassu oil is an alternative to coconut oil. It has anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and healing properties. It is also rich in fatty acids and moisturizes the skin.
Beeswax (yellow) is a natural substance that comes from honeybees and has great benefits for the skin. When used in combination with the other ingredients, beeswax hydrates and soothes the skin, promotes skin regeneration, soothes any irritation, and helps with the healing of abrasions such as cracked nipples
Shea butter addresses a lot of skin, hair, and health conditions. For the skin, shea butter is rich in Vitamins A, E, and F. It helps with dry or oily skin, provides relief of certain skin conditions, prevents skin irritation, reduces skin discomfort, and promotes skin cell regeneration
Cocoa butter comes from cacao beans and is also rich in vitamins and antioxidants that is great for the skin. It helps prevents scars and unwanted marks, relives itching, cracked, chapped or peeling skin, helps with moisturizing the skin, helps with repairing damaged skin, and has anti-inflammatory properties
Directions: Apply to the nipple immediately after nursing or pumping. Can also be used on other areas of body

Essential oil dilution for lactating mothers is 1% which the blends of oils contain and a safe amount when applied topically to sensitive areas or when exposed to infants. If skin sensitivity occurs, apply additional carrier oil (olive oil or coconut oil) to the site of application.
